Reclaiming the Workweek: Solving Bottlenecks with Automation

Free Workshop
1:30 pm – 4:00 pm
Summary
The modern enterprise is often hindered by “the gap”—the space between high-level AI/Automation strategy and the actual execution of daily tasks. This session bridges that gap by demonstrating how Make.com acts as the central nervous system for business operations. We move beyond theory to show how HR, Finance, and Sales teams use visual automation to reclaim hundreds of hours. Attendees will transition from observers to builders, architecting a real-world automation to solve a personal work bottleneck.
The Details
1. Session Overview & Abstract
2. Part I: The Blueprint Deep Dive (Hour 1)
In the first half of the workshop, we break down three production-level automation “blueprints” currently driving efficiency for enterprise teams.
Use Case 1: The Compliant HR Onboarding Engine
- The Workflow: A candidate fills out a monday.com form and Make.com processes the dynamic logic and documents are generated.
- The Complexity: The system automatically distinguishes between 1099 and W2 status and pulls the correct legal documentation based on the candidate’s specific US State.
- The Result: Manual data entry and compliance errors are eliminated.
Use Case 2: AI-Powered Talent Acquisition
- The Workflow: Inbound resumes AI-driven parsing, Skillset mapping, Weekly job scraper, matching, automated email notifications.
- The Complexity: Using automation to “score” candidates against live job openings in real-time.
- The Result: Recruiter productivity increases by focusing only on pre-qualified,high-score matches.
Use Case 3: Pharmaceutical Commission & Payroll Integration
- The Workflow: Sales data ingestion, Tiered drug-class logic, Integration with Paychex payroll system.
- The Complexity: Managing complex, multi-tiered commission structures for pharmaceutical reps and triggering the “cut check” process within the payroll system.
- The Result: 100% accuracy in financial payouts and zero manual calculation time.
3. Part II: The Builder’s Lab (Hour 2)
This segment is dedicated to active creation. Attendees will move from the “What” to the “How.”
- Task Identification: We challenge every attendee to identify one task that is Manual, Tedious, and Daily.
- Active Building: With Free access to the Make.com platform, attendees will begin mapping their “Friction Point” into a functional scenario.
- Expert Mentorship: The Govincorp and Make.com teams will provide over-the- shoulder support to debug logic and connect modules.
- Review & Recap: We will close by showcasing successful workflows built in the room and providing a “Resource Pack” to continue the automation journey after the conference.
4. Workshop Outcomes: From Learning to Launching
By the end of this session, attendees will have transitioned from conceptual understanding to practical technical application. The workshop is structured to deliver three primary outcomes:
A. Technical Proficiency & Platform Competency
- Operational Blueprinting: Attendees will understand how to map a manual business process into a logical automated workflow using Make.com’s visual canvas.
- Tool Integration: Participants will learn how to bridge disparate enterprise tools—such as frontend forms (monday.com), AI parsing engines, and payroll systems (Paychex)—into a single, unified scenario.
- Advanced Logic Application: Learners will gain hands-on experience using routers, filters, and state-specific variables to handle complex business rules, such as those found in HR compliance and tiered sales commissions.
B. Immediate Operational Efficiency
- The “Friction Point” Prototype: Every attendee will leave with a functional prototype of an automation designed to solve a specific, tedious task from their daily workload.
- Time Reclamation: By automating one “manual and daily” task, attendees will identify a path to reclaiming significant portions of their workweek.
C. Strategic Scaling & Support
- Blueprint Portfolio: Attendees will receive blueprints for use cases to serve as templates for their own organizations.
- Network Access: Participants will establish direct connections with Govincorp and Make.com experts, ensuring they have the technical support network required to scale their automation journey post-conference.
5. Technical Requirements & Logistics
- Track: AI Users / AI in the Enterprise
- Target Audience: Operations & IT Leaders, HR Managers, Sales Ops, and AI Builders, and people wanting to learn a new skill
- Attendee Requirements: If they want to build will need a laptop and a list of 2–3 manual business processes to automate.
